Alaska Goldendoodles Update

It has been my great pleasure to bring Alaska Goldendoodles to Alaska families over the last several years. What starts as the joy of wiggling new life in our home is doubled by the joy in the faces of their forever families when they are delivered to their new homes.

Alaska Goldendoodles is taking an indefinite break and is no longer accepting applications. I recommend www.goldendoodles.com to search for a breeder.

Please enjoy the website and one of my favorite video clips

Thank you to all of the Alaska Goldendoodle families with their little Sadie and Kody pups. Please keep those pictures and updates coming.

Goldendoodles have the smarts of a Poodle, the sweet mellowness of a Golden Retriever, and they are incredibly adorable! Goldendoodles make excellent family pets, assistance dogs, and companions.

Welcome to Alaska Goldendoodles! Breeding multi-generational Goldendoodles for health, temperament, and just the right size! Our puppies are part of our family and live in our home, not a kennel, where they are loved and cared for until they are ready to join your family. We are a home-based breeder in Homer, Alaska. Our dogs are part of our family and live in our home.

About Us
Alaska Goldendoodles are family bred and raised in our home with opportunities for socialization and beginning training (housebreaking, crate training, etc.).
My first dog was born the same day I was and I have rarely been without one or more dogs in my life. Growing up, there were several litters of dogs and cats and I was dedicated to each of them. I worked for a veterinarian when I was in my twenties and loved assisting in surgery. A highlight is my memory of an emergency c-section of a large litter of Husky pups late one night.

Sadie presented us with our first litter of second generation Goldendoodles the day after Thanksgiving, 2011. All eleven pups were healthy, sweet, and an incredible joy. Sadie was an excellent mom. Kody, once he got over his fear of these new little things, was the best dad rarely letting them out of his sight and patiently allowing them climb all over and pull his tail.

Being a breeder is something I’ve planned for for most of my life. I’ve studied and researched best practices. I adhere to the tenants of quality breeders and I will not continue to breed unless I feel certain that there are good homes waiting for our pups. After considering the options, I specifically chose Goldendoodles, and Sadie and Kody in particular, for their wonderful qualities. My husband and I both work at home so the time is right to do what I love – sharing exceptional dogs with dog-loving families.
